Linear bearings are a type of bearing designed to provide motion in a straight line. They are used in a variety of applications, from manufacturing equipment to aerospace systems. Linear bearings are an essential component in many mechanical systems, as they enable smooth, precise movement.
Mounted bearings are precision elements that house rolling bearings and support rotating shafts, whether they’re bolted onto a machine frame or any other form of a substructure. They provide the functionality of a bearing and the stability of a housing unit, combining both components into a single unit.
Roller bearings are a type of rolling-element bearing that uses cylindrical or tapered rollers to reduce friction between moving parts. Unlike ball bearings, which use spheres as the rolling elements, roller bearings distribute the load over a larger surface area, allowing them to handle higher radial and axial loads.
Plain bearings are a type of bearing that uses a lubricated sliding surface between the inner and outer surfaces to reduce friction and wear. Spherical Bearings are used in high load and severe misalignment conditions. They may also be used in applications requiring low speed oscillation or tilting motion. Rod end bearings are available in standards including self-lubricating, metal-to-metal or slot loaders, as well as special configurations.
